Family of Edward Bronstein, 38, alleges CHP officers used excessive force during a forced blood draw following a DUI stop on March 31, 2020. Multiple officers restrained Bronstein face-down while he repeatedly screamed "I can't breathe." Bronstein died during the procedure. Officers Dusty Osmanson and Marciel Terry initiated the stop. Claims of excessive force, deliberate indifference, and civil rights violations under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
