Family of Amir Locke, 22, alleges Officer Mark Hanneman used excessive force by fatally shooting Locke during a no-knock SWAT raid on February 2, 2022 in a downtown Minneapolis apartment. Locke was sleeping on a couch and was not the subject of the search warrant. He was shot within seconds of officers entering the apartment. Claims of excessive force, unreasonable seizure, and civil rights violations under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
